Prior to the submission of this Application Form, applicants are strongly encouraged to review the Harbour Road Area Community Improvement Plan and consult with staff of Planning Services in the Economic and Development Services Department. Early consultation can result in the identification of matters that will significantly assist in the processing of the application.

Note:

1. Completed Increased Assessment Grant applications are accepted year-round and processed on a first come first served basis to the limit of available funding in accordance with any administrative rules governing this and other grant programs.
   
   
2. Applicants for an Increased Assessment Grant must be the registered owner(s) of the property and must undertake improvements to their property, which shall be of sufficient size and cost to result in a reassessment of the property.
   
   
3. Completed applications are to be submitted before a building permit application. Upon acceptance of your application, you will be provided a committal letter advising of your eligibility for the program subject to any terms and conditions contained in the committal letter.
