Application for Musical Performers

Evaluation Criteria:

Applications accepted until Sunday, February 2, 2025, only successful candidates will be contacted.

Performance Applications to include:

• Performer contact information.
• An artist/band/group performer biography.
• Link to a recorded live performance on an accessible platform such as YouTube, Facebook or public websites. Please note we will not accept performances that are on Spotify, Prime, or on other paid services.

Incomplete submissions (example: no live performance link included, no contact information, etc.) will not be forwarded to the jury for consideration.

Performer Selection
The City of Oshawa selects performers for a variety of family friendly events with audience attendance ranging from 250 to 2,000 people. City events offer a diverse selection of entertainment including solo artists, bands, and groups, featuring various genres offering something for everyone. 

The City of Oshawa has a limited budget per band, payment is based on $150 per performer, per set. We may contact alternate bands/performers at a later date for other events or cancellations based on needs.

This form may contain personal information as defined under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. This information is collected under the legal authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001 c.25, as amended. This information will be used and maintained by the City of Oshawa to process and review the Summer Concert Application for Performing Artist form.
