Indigenous Cultural Celebration Displayer/Sponsor Application
Application Deadline:
The City of Oshawa will make available spaces for Displayers and Sponsors at Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park on Saturday, May 31.

Application deadline is Monday, May 19 at 11:59 p.m.
Please be aware that completing this form does not guarantee a spot at this event. All applications selected to attend will receive an email confirmation after the deadline.
Insurance Requirements:
Displayers and Sponsors will be required to submit an insurance certificate in the amount $2 million in general liability that names the City of Oshawa as an additional insured. (for the certificate: City of Oshawa 50 Centre St. S. Oshawa, ON L1H 3Z7). If the business or organization does not carry insurance, the City's provider may be able to provide it at the cost of $21 plus HST.
Please Note: Tents and weights, tables and chairs will not be provided. Tents are highly recommended and encouraged for shade and cover from the elements. Weights must be either water or sand, as tents are not permitted to be staked.
Parking: Drop off of items may be done prior to the event. There is no fee parking surrounding the event.
Set-up and Take-down
- Set-up: Access to park: To assist with move in, you will assigned a set up time window, closer to the event date.
- Set-up must be completed by: 11 a.m.
- Late arrivals will be accommodated only if it is safe to do so.
- Displayers and Sponsors are required to set up and take down on their own
- Displayers and Sponsors will be required to supply their own tent (10x10), tables, and chairs
- Displayers and Sponsors must not stake their tent into the grounds and will be responsible for supplying their own weights for tent.
- Motorized vehicles are restricted to set up and takedown time along the pathways and may not drive in the park outside the event hours.
