Bright & Merry Market Merchandise Vendor Information:

The City of Oshawa will make available spaces for merchandise vendors at Bright & Merry Market. The City of Oshawa reserves the right to limit the number of vendors dealing in sales of similar products. The City of Oshawa further reserves the right to select and approve all products for sale, exhibition or promotion at the event.

Vendors will be located outdoors during the event on Friday, November 14, 2025. If vendors are providing their own generator, it will be required to be a whisper quiet generator pre-approved by the City Of Oshawa.

Preference will be given to:

  • Vendors and booths that have business or home address in Durham Region.
  • Vendors with good quality, well priced items.
  • Applicants who incorporate green initiatives.

Submission Requirements:

  • All submissions are subject to a selection process.
  • A price list and product list should be submitted with application.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • There are a limited number of spaces available.
  • Advertising of vendors attending the event will be done once all payments and documentation are received in full.
  • Each vendor is expected to share their participation on social media and/or bring promotional postcards to other shows.
  • If selected, a signed agreement, full payment and proof of insurance is due no later than October 19.

Event Space and Fee: (Paid through Facility Booking Office)

  • The location of each vendor spot will be determined by the City of Oshawa Events Team.
  • There is no Bright and Merry Market merchandise vendor permitting fee for 2025.
  • Signage must be confined to the perimeters of your booth.
  • This is an outdoor event, come prepared for weather.
  • Booths must have a clean, attractive and professional appearance. Lights are recommended.
  • Certificate of insurance for $2,000,000 liability naming the City of Oshawa (address: 50 Centre St. Oshawa, ON L1H 3Z7) as an additional insured must be obtained if selected to participate.

Set-up and Take-down:

  • Vendors will be required to do their own set up and take down and all supplies necessary. Vendors will not stake their tent into the ground and will be responsible for supplying their own weights for their tent if applicable.
  • Motorized vehicles are restricted to set up and takedown time.
  • Set-up times are to be confirmed.
  • Late arrivals will not be accommodated.
  • Takedown is no earlier than 9 p.m.
